Independent tools for Engine studios
Stake Engine
development tools.
ReelGrove is a private creative workspace for developers building slot games for Engine (engine.io), also known as Stake Engine. It brings artwork, sound, animation, game previews and project reports into one browser workspace.
Use it to refine a supported game build with your team, review changes and connect your AI assistants. ReelGrove is made by Mac Graver sp. z o.o. and is independent of Stake and Engine.
What can you do in ReelGrove?
Replace artwork and tune sound
Use Art Lab to replace supported game artwork, adjust it and preview it in context. Use Sound Lab to audition replacements and tune supported sound settings. Saved changes belong to your project revision.
Create motion and skeletal animation
Motion Lab adjusts supported game motion. Animation Lab creates rigs, clips and layered mixes with crossfades, keys tint and flash colours, imports supported Spine JSON rigs and binds supported animations to game events. Supported exports include the animation runtime and source under the supplied project-use terms.
Inspect math and check frontend files
Read math reports computed from published weights, including return to player (RTP), hit rates and payout distributions. Run static frontend checks on the current revision. For built games with the observer adapter, local Chromium replay collects actual outcome completions, control checks and a screenshot. Engine submission review remains a separate step.
Repeat the checks that matter
Save profile and action matrices across exact outcomes, capture complete suites and inspect every isolated browser result. Readiness policies bind structured requirements and the observations your team reviewed to an immutable decision. Failed and missing evidence stays visible.
Preview and review together
Run game previews with simulated test credits. Save exact published outcomes, capture release candidates and record human reviews against their input identities. Changed inputs are marked stale. Enabled installations also record isolated browser observations against the frozen candidate. Review completed cases, verified receipts and screenshots while the remaining cases finish. Invite teammates with role presets or custom permissions for the work they need to do. Editors use paid seats after the trial; reviewers join free.
Use the viewport selector in the preview toolbar to test desktop, laptop, popout and three mobile sizes at their exact pixel dimensions; separate preview dialogs offer the same sizes in their Screen selector. Resizing preserves the running test session. See the preview guide or the editors and real product screenshots.
Where it fits in your Engine workflow
Start with a supported project.
Choose an available starter game, or import your completed Engine frontend and published math where independent imports are enabled. The existing-game guide covers initial admission, later builds and CI. Bundlepack packages local Engine frontend and math files for import.
Make and review creative changes.
Replace symbols, tune sounds and build animations in the Labs. Preview the result, save exact outcomes, inspect reports and collect release feedback in your private studio.
Export and continue your build.
Download a standalone game, development bundle or portable project with its captured files. Edit game source and generate math in your local toolchain, then activate a rebuilt bundle in the same project to preserve saved Lab work. Exports keep working independently of ReelGrove.
Submit through your own Engine account.
Follow the official Engine documentation and approval requirements. A ReelGrove template, report or export does not grant submission approval.
Connect AI agents through MCP
ReelGrove provides a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) endpoint for compatible assistants and coding tools. A project key limits access to a selected project, revision and set of tool scopes. Available tools inspect project context, edit supported Lab resources, capture complete regression matrices and assess the exact evidence behind release decisions. Use studioctl to upload an existing project’s next build or download a verified export. Project keys enforce the same resource permissions; human approvals remain in the account workflow.
Start with the MCP setup guide for connection settings, permissions and example tasks. For product research, the text documentation index and public documentation as text are available without signing in.
Common questions
Is ReelGrove an official Stake Engine product?
ReelGrove is an independent development service. Your company maintains its own Engine account and submits games through Engine. ReelGrove does not provide approval, casino distribution or a revenue guarantee.
Does it replace the Engine SDK or generate my game math?
Keep your local source and math-generation tools. ReelGrove adds creative Labs, previews, published math reports, saved scenarios, release reviews and build imports. Local math experiments retain inputs, pinned tools, distributions and constraint results for comparison. When enabled, hosted experiments run reviewed source, compare validated distributions and prepare a build for separate activation. Build imports depend on the formats and features enabled for your studio.
Can I use real money in a preview?
Previews use simulated test credits with no deposits, withdrawals or redemption. Subscription payments buy access to development tools and are separate from preview balances.
Does “engine.io” mean the Socket.IO networking library?
Here, engine.io refers to the Engine game-development platform. The Engine.IO networking library used by Socket.IO is a separate project.
